I used to think being married to a muggle was one of the hardest things in the world and some days it can be. But here is why on the best days it works..

He brings the adventure I bring the routine 
He brings the jokes I bring the laughter 
He brings the action I bring the chick flicks
He brings the logical I bring the emotional 
He brings the rum I bring the coke
He brings the crazy I bring the calm
He keeps us tethered I bring us wings 

It doesn't need explaining because I know it works. It's crazy, and fun and a little fucked up at times. But it works.

Relationships are about "Working together to make YOUR world brighter"

It's like climbing up a mountain on your own separate paths but you chose for those paths to be side by side. Supporting each other on your own journeys. 

I doesn't meant some days I don't want to stab him. Because believe me I do. But I'm pretty sure when I'm snoring or ranting about Mercury retrograde he probably wants to stab me too.

Relationships aren't like a one size fits all hat. It takes work, time and yes this may mean compromise. But that's for you to decide. Not anyone else. 

So don't let other people's relationships or opinions define yours. Make it work on your terms the way you want it.
